Adagio Highlights & Screens

Sales Analysis

Sales Analysis lets you extract valuable sales statistics from your Adagio® / ACCPAC® Plus™ data, so you can fine-tune and maximize your sales efforts. Sales Analysis includes eighteen predefined reports, and lets you create custom reports, either from scratch or based on one of those already included.   • Online Inquiry includes user defined templates which can be copied and modified, exported and imported

Time and Billing  

Time and Billing maintains complete information on clients, staff members and files. Through simple drill-down, you can oversee who's doing what, for whom, for how long, at what cost, and for how much longer. Time and Billing also makes it easy to track how your staff is performing. Billable and non-billable statistics, rates and overtime are tracked, and can be fed to Payroll systems. At any time, the Billing module can automatically generate a billing batch for all unbilled time and disbursements for selected clients and files across a range of dates with a variety of filters. Progress or final bills can be generated with write-offs or write-ups, at the file type or work code level. Optionally, disbursements can be retrieved and marked up from Adagio Ledger or Adagio Checks. Time and Billing has the following features.

Adagio works with Brovo Software Group Remote Desk 

Adagio integrates with Bravo Software Group’s “Remote Desk”. This allows you to link remote desktops, hand-held devices, or peripherals such as bar coding devices directly to your accounting system.

Smart Finder  

Smart Finder allows you to select an item in the list, review or edit it, and then return to the list to choose another item, without having to redo the search. In addition, since the results list remains persistent across windows in the application, you can search on one screen and recall the results on another screen. 

  • Smart Finder on numeric fields (Amounts, Quantities, percentages, etc.)
  • For example, you can search on “Customer Balance > $5000” or “Qty on hand < 0”
  • Smart Finder searches on Booleans Y/N
  • For example, you can search on “OE Order Complete?” = Y or “AR On Hold?” = N
  • Grid Editor
  • Allows customization by each user of the Finder, Smart Finder and grid screens, including field selection, title, size and column position. This lets each user tailor their use of Adagio to their specific task in the organization. The results list from the Smart Finder can be printed, or exported to Excel with a single click. By using the column editor, you can control which fields appear on the print out, the order of the fields, the width of fields, and the column titles. The Smart Finder is, in effect, a mini report writer.

Faxing  

  • Fax documents from your computer. Documents can be added to a queue for immediate faxing or scheduled to be faxed at a specific time from Adagio’s built-in fax server.
  • Print list of queued faxes
  • For example, this list can be used to follow up by phone
  • Preview faxes on screen
  • Allows you to confirm contents without printing

Strong Customer History and Invoicing 

Adagio stores detail customer information as well as buying history and other statistics to help you know your customers better. The full G/L distribution of all transactions posted in Adagio is available for inquiry and prints on several reports. History may be kept indefinitely. Historical transactions may be re-activated for repeat orders (with automatic re-pricing if desired).

Financial Reporter 

Adagio Ledger’s Financial Reporter allows the easy creation of complex financial statements. Combining drag and drop simplicity, with a formula based syntax; a company’s financial statement format may be completely independent of the Chart of Accounts. With all the computational power of industry standard spreadsheets, side-by-side departmental comparative statements are simple and straightforward to create.


Strong Channel Support 

Many of the Softrak Systems resellers have worked with the company for more than 15 years, an impressive statement in such a volatile market. The software is designed to leverage the learning curve of its Partners.  Softrak Systems works closely with developer partners to leverage their experience and extend the product reach and life cycle. Third Party solutions are available for Payroll, eCommerce, Contact Management, and Remote Order Entry.  While not as well known in the United States as in Canada, Softrak does have resellers, trainers and developers in many states. Drag & Drop Forms Designer 

Creating custom invoices, credit notes, order confirmations, statements and company checks should be a straightforward and simple procedure. Adagio’s unique Forms Designer allows users to easily create multi-part forms. Users can select the copy or copies on which each element will print. Print out a customer copy, accounting copy and a shipping manifest with a single click of the mouse.


Attention to User Interface details
 

Often it’s the small things that make a product a pleasure to use. For example, Adagio disables the Print button when previewing a check run, preventing a user from printing multiple copies of the same check. If a starting customer is selected for a report, the customer number is copied to the ending customer field, making it easy to print an Aged Trial Balance or Statement for a single customer.

  


Fax forms and statements
 

Save the cost of postage and handling of customer statements. Adagio’s built-in fax manager is easy to set up and share amongst all Adagio workstations. Schedule faxes for later transmission, and print out those where connections failed. View the faxes before or after they are sent.

 

 

Comprehensive Inquiries 

Adagio Payables and Receivables automatically match invoices and payments. Single screen account inquiries show all customer activity, including G/L distributions of transactions.

 

 


Easy data backup and checking 

Each Adagio module contains its own comprehensive data integrity check. Simple errors are user fixable. User backups of data by module or company can be done right from the File Menu, with automatic creation of backup Zip files.

 



Drill down in Financial Statements
 

Adagio Ledger’s Financial Reporter allows the user to drill from a figure on a Financial Statement, to an account summary, to a fiscal period summary and then down to the posted transactions.

 


Powerful and Printable Lookup
 

Adagio’s SmartScan makes it much easier to scan the database, looking for records that meet criteria on any database field. The list created by the scan is persistent.  If the user chooses to review one item, they do not have to redo the scan to check out another entry. Adagio also provides for the printing of list of records that meet the criteria. Use this feature to create simple customer contact lists for sales staff, or account lists for reference.

 

 
 

User defined grids 

Every selection grid in Adagio can be customized to display the fields you want from the database. Grid views can be common throughout the company, or specialized for a specific task. Security features control whether a user can customize their grids.


Easy to use Inventory 

Adagio Inventory helps you manage your stock with ease. Tools like the Grid Editor, which allows customization of screens, field selection, title, size and column position lets each user tailor Adagio Inventory's use to their specific task in the organization, from warehouse to order desk. Adagio Inventory is a complete multi-location stock management and control system which tracks purchases, receipts, shipments, returns and adjustments. Its Windows interface, with drag and drop, cut and paste, batch, check and detail grids and multi-select print and post make managing your inventory smooth and effortless. Price lists can be automatically updated based on sale price or standard cost, by percentage, amount, markup or margin. You can add items on the fly while entering receipts and shipments. Units of Measure are maintained and verified during item entry. Inventory handles stock transfers between unlimited locations, and items can be labeled active or inactive, by location. Inventory ships with 35 pre-designed, editable reports, including stock control, and price/sales analysis reports, with multiple options for sorting. Pull up item statistics and sales data by period in seconds. 

Adagio Inventory has several great features that may not be found in other competitive inventory modules:
